Nose
Rose petal and crushed rock candy stick in the nose first along with juicy passionfruit and a floral tomato leaf perfume. A delicate background of sweet and sharp cranberry juice and diffused hibiscus linger.
Palate
The entry is bright of red currants and berry medley compote, and a short lived softness quickly fleshes out into rich and coating tannins that envelop the palate in charred cedar and cigar box. Pie crust and blueberry cobbler is a decadent and appreciated reprieve that soaks into the palate as the wine finishes with stern and drying tannins.
