The meadow is surrounded by trees imbued with nectarines, chamomile growing wildly at their roots. Scents of lime zest and himalayan pink salt hang in the still air and all is quiet except for birdsong in the distance. You lounge in the serenity and nibble on honeydew and cheese with quince jam.
As I weaved gracefully through the grand ballroom, I noticed the pleasant aroma of raspberries and blood oranges and in the air. I caught sight of a charming stranger amidst the crowd, his magnetic presence drawing my gaze. I watched as a cigar box was opened for him. His eyes flickered with mischief and he made his selection, skillfully relieving the gentleman of his pocket watch. I smirked, noticing the subtle aromas of cinnamon, spearmint and high mountain oolong tea lingering in the room - a tantalizing backdrop to the daring feat I had just beheld. The pickpocket vanished into the crowd, his identity known only to those who dared to pay attention.
The 2021 Reserve Viognier from Santa Barbara County is a beautifully aromatic white wine with notes of lemon mineral water, pineapple and wild jasmine plus further layers of apricot and almond biscotti. The palette is lively and fresh, accented with citrus zest.
Our 2021 Reserve Grenache is a refined indulgence. It starts with cozy cinnamon-spiced luxardo cherries and invigorating orange peel. Subtle sage and birchwood notes add complexity, while alpine strawberries offer an uplifting twist. Fine-grained tannins give the wine structure, leading to a smooth, enduring finish. This is a beautifully balanced Grenache that begs to be savored. *Club Exclusive

As I traverse the rugged terrain, I stumble upon a rustic treasure waiting to be unearthed. With reverence, I approach this relic of times past, the weight of history in my hands. The scents of well-worn leather, dried violets and thyme whisper stories of the past while the aromas of ripe plum and dark cherry carry promises of the future. I depart, gravel and leaves crunching underfoot. With each step forward, I feel the responsibility of knowing that I am not just a wanderer, but a steward of something greater, entrusted to pass it on to the next generation.
