Palate

Packed with character that slowly, gracefully evolves as the wine hits your glass and breathes, the 2018 Block B showcases all the attributes we know and love about this iconic wine: roasted meat, black olive, olive brine, wet earth, minerals, dark black and blue fruits, white flowers, black pepper, and resinous fresh herbs. Aromas and flavors echo each other and work in harmony, and texture is long and velvety with chalky tannins dotting the palate throughout. From start to finish, this wine exhibits seamless balance and precision and leaves a lasting impression of awe, sophistication, and infatuation.

Paderewski Vineyard:

Travel just west of Paso Robles, and you will find Paderewski Vineyard: 67 acres of undulating, steep, limestone rich hillsides within 570 rural, spring-fed acres. In the early 1900’s, this vineyard was cherished and farmed by world-renowned pianist, Polish diplomat, and vintner, Ignacy Jan Paderewski. Fast forward a century, and this property stood forgotten and fallow. Lucky for us, in 2004, we became the stewards of this amazing piece of property.
