Halter Ranch

The Viognier features classic aromas of honey, marmalade, white peach, and a hint of floral notes. The palate is juicy and rich upon entry. Flavors of Anjou pear and apricot combine with balanced acid to create a complete wine perfect for food or on its own

The 2021 Picpoul Blanc features aromas of crushed pineapple, lemon zest, and a touch of crème brulée. The flavors are bright with stone fruit, citrus, and lengthy acid that creates a vibrant texture and mouthfeel.

When Hansjörg Wyss bought this historic property, he named it in honor of his mother, Alice Halter. With this reserve blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Tannat, we are honoring her once again with the name Cuvée Alice.

Although typically used as a blending component at Halter Ranch, we produce a limited quantity of a single varietal Tannat for our Silver Label Club.

Although it is traditionally used in small amounts for blending, we have had an exceptional vineyard block of Petit Verdot that has produced a limited quantity of wine worthy of being bottled on its own. Petit Verdot is known for its color, structure, and tannins, and this wine lives up to these attributes.
