This wine is LAYERED not one dimensional - not just in aromatics and flavors, but also in texture because of this process. It gives it a luscious counting mouth feel

Growing Conditions

Vogelzang Vineyard, Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara
Gravelly loam soil is strewn with rock and rubble. Here the morning fog burns off earlier than the rest of the valley providing the much-desired longer day of heat. The naturally low-yielding vines produce an intense and concentrated white wine.

Winemaking

Barrel fermented to emphasize the aromatics. Five months sur lie and battonage, right until bottling prep to enhance texture. Bottled Filtered.
