Growing Conditions

nutrient deficient sandy soils causing the vines to struggle, yielding wines with greater concentration, and intense aromatics. South facing slope. Proximity to the Pacific Ocean .Cool, even growing season. Small yields and intense berries.


Harvested overnight and driven to Paso early in the morning, this fruit was processed straight into a jacketed steel tank and fermented for 12 days on skins.


Aged in new and used French oak barriques and puncheons (~45% new) for 18 months.
