Classic Barbaresco expression - apricot, red cherries, plums. Hints of Rose water and coriander. Fine grain still powerful tannins, vibrant acidity.

Growing Conditions

Glen Rose Vineyard, Adelaida District
Over 2000 feet in elevation, the Nebbiolo is planted on the ridgeline of highly chalky, steep and deeply terraced soils. Conditions stress the vines. Avg 2 tons yield per acre. The resulting wines are intense and flavorful, with excellent minerality and great propensity for ageing.

Winemaking

Upfront extraction and fermentation in a 3 ton tank. This powerful varietal was on skin for 17 days. Aged for 17 months in three once-used French oak puncheons (500L). Bottled Unfiltered.
