The Zephyr blend is about co-fermentation. It is culmination of some of the best fruit from the
home vineyard, combined with fruit from some of my favorite local growers. We take Syrah
and Viognier then co-fermented them together in classic Cote Rotie style, leaving the wine on
the skins for extended maceration to enhance mouth feel and color. We utilize cooler
fermentation temperatures to accentuate the more delicate fruit and floral characteristics in
the wine. I have selected premium French oak barrels that enhance and compliment the floral
and fruit forward style of the Zephyr blend.
