Growing Conditions

This vineyard is composed of depleted limestone and shell and forms a beautiful bench in the eastern portion of Happy Canyon, nestled right into the mountains. This Sangiovese is low yielding, European in flavor, and delicious!


Hand-harvested. Fermented in a jacketed steel tank to ensure precise temperature and extraction. Aged in Slavonian oak barriques to match the style of traditional Sangiovese

Food Pairing

Classic Italian fare such as with intense but lighter fare; Herb-forward sauces; citrus notes; fatty dishes containing butter or cream; oysters. Contrast with some spicy Mexican food.
